Happy Healthy Weight Week 2015! This week is nationally recognized and celebrated to promote health at every size, diet-free living, and lifelong healthy habits.

The topic of “weight” can be controversial and emotional, but we must be mindful of the fact that every individual is different and no one is the same. That is the beauty of life! It is unrealistic for all individuals to be categorized into the same size group, and it is impossible for all individuals to achieve the same weight. Factors such as genetics, culture, beliefs and many other characteristics play a major role in our weight. We are all different and that is what makes each of us AWESOME!

Exercise and being physically active enhances our lives. Healthy eating nourishes and heals our bodies. Incorporating both fitness and healthy foods, leads to a healthier weight. Healty habits can be achieved at various sizes. Don’t compare your weight or health to others. Practice healthy habits and your healthy habits will become your lifestyle!
