Workout at Work

Yes you can get your workout on at work!
If you are stuck at a desk the majority of your work day or work week, you can sneak in some exercise either at your desk or around your workplace.
Working behind a desk provides more opportunity for exercise than you may think. Sure, you won't run a marathon or develop rock-hard abs, but can improve and maintain your health! Here are some quick tips:
1.) Take the stairs instead of the elevator! During your lunch break get your heart rate up by walking up and down those stairs for 10-12 minutes.
2.) Stretch! Stand and stretch your legs and arms every hour. Wiggle your wrists and roll your ankles often every 20-30. This helps keep your blood flowing.
3.) Suck those abs in! Sit up straight in your chair and tighten your abdominal muscles bringing them in towards the spine as you exhale. Squeeze your abs for 5-10 seconds and release.
