The Weekly Word with Dr. Dowe: Keep The FAITH!

“Look at the proud! They trust in themselves, and their lives are crooked. But the righteous will live by their faithfulness to God”
Habakkuk 2:4 NLT
Title: What is God’s vision for His house? …meaning the house is ‘The temple of God, His people’
Habakkuk was a prophet known for bringing his concerns to God whenever he was seriously troubled. When God answered, Habakkuk would respond in a prayer of Faith. The scripture above is quoted over and over again to inspire faithfulness to God (Romans 1:17; Galatians 3:11). It has been helpful to guide in times of hopelessness. We must Trust God that He is directing all things according to his will and purpose. As sinful habits are broken and behaviors are changed, we encourage you to keep the Faith!
The Word for the Day is a faith walk and cornerstone erected originally in Elizabethtown when the first Medical Weight Loss center began. It sat faithfully on the counter. Many have been encouraged, some have come by just to read it, some take pictures to read later, others from different states request it. We hope that it enlightens you, enhances your walk and purpose on this earth toward the advancement of God’s Kingdom through the promises of Jesus Christ. So, we ask you three questions?
Do you believe God is real?
We realize atheist believe there is no God. Agnostics believe God is real but can take God or leave God, “in the world”
Do you have a personal relationship with God?
Relationship means you take time every day, several times a day but don’t miss spending quality time in His presence. If this seems slow in coming, be patient, keep coming toward “The Word”, for it will surely take place.
Since you feel God is real and personal, Have you realized and embodied His mission for your life? Or, have self-centered lifestyles pushed God out? What have you faithfully done daily/weekly for Kingdom growth? Have you grown in your walk? Remember, having God’s Word means little if we are not obeying it, and how can individuals and nations function well, if they don’t read it or know it. Public morality and order depends upon the knowledge of God. It’s in The Word. Keep the Faith!
Be Healed and Be Blessed
