Title: Mirror Mirror on the wall, Is your Lifestyle-relationship with God shallow and small?

In whom you also trusted, after that you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that you believed, you were sealed with that holy spirit of promiseEphesians 1:13 (KJV)

The Apostle Paul was writing a letter to Ephesian believers and all other believers during the beginning years of the church in the first century AD. He had been a Christian over 30 yrs, completed three missionary trips and now was writing a letter to encourage the believers while waiting in a prison, arrested for his beliefs in Jesus Christ. Paul reminded them they had heard the Truth from Jesus himself. After all, Jesus had recently been crucified, died on the cross, buried in another man’s tomb and resurrected alive now sitting at a place of honor in heaven (Acts 13:26-39). The gospel in the word of truth cited in the scripture above stems from the Greek word, Euangelion (n) and points to the Good News of the coming of the Kingdom of God. It refers to the death, burial, resurrection and witness of the Son of God, Jesus and the implications in our relationship with God as Christians. God promised to raise him (Jesus) from the dead, not leaving Him to rot in the grave. God also promises, if we believe, our sins are forgiven and we won’t rot in the grave either. Why is this so important? Why is it that we trust in the gospel of the Good News? Simply put, it’s because of Salvation or Soteria. This Greek word means rescue, deliverance, state of not being in the grave of danger, being safe including safe from ordinary dangers and conditions on earth but also safe from righteous wrath as a result of an improper relationship with God. True Salvation is really being healthy and having a lifestyle with God! Salvation is the gift of God and cannot be earned by merit or taking away by demerits. Being saved is not about money gains, houses or any successes through this world although God is sovereign and blesses us as He sees to do so.

Simply obeying God’s commands can eliminate the fear of uncertainty. Our motivation to going ahead and bumping up your relationship today is knowing He thought enough to care about you, to love you more than you love yourself, to make sure you and your family are taken care of by making the plan of offering Salvation, through offering a part of Himself in 3 parts, Father, Son and Holy Spirit. I’ll speak more about my personal relationships in future blogs. Let me know yours at www.medlifefit.com.

We are accepting new patients for primary care! In addition, our trademark utilizes the “BENS” Theory Model which is a holistic approach to healthcare. The “S” in BENS stands for spiritual. As you eat low calorie nutritional eating plans (some are more restrictive than others), God does a work of purifying. He allows the opportunity to focus on the inner self as well as the outer parts. We also have evening support group classes.

Have a Happy and Healthy Week!
